Antistante la costa di Torre Vado, c’\u00e8 un’area in cui in tre zone, il fondale marino si solleva da meno 19-20 metri ad appena 3-5 metri. Le collinette subacquee, come queste sono genericamente definite “secche”, e sono interessanti, i pescatori lo sanno bene, perch\u00e9 su di esse \u00e8 pi\u00f9 ricca la pesca.
\nQuesto per vari motivi biologici tra cui la forzosa risalita da fondali pi\u00f9 bassi dei pesci di passo e le ideali condizioni ambientali per la riproduzione dei pesci stanziali, senza lo svantaggio dell’inquinamento costiero.<\/p>\n

La “secca” pi\u00f9 vicina a Torre Vado<\/a> \u00e8 a 400 metri direzione sud, ed \u00e8 a base circolare di diametro di 3 m. Ad occidente di questa, dopo 500 m. inizia la pi\u00f9 alta, con una media 3 m di profondit\u00e0, lunga 1 Km e mezzo, e larga 10-30 metri. Ancora ad occidente, dopo 300 metri c’\u00e8 la terza secca, anch’essa circolare con un diametro di 40 m. E’ chiaro che le distanze e le misure sono solo indicative della collocazione e delle dimensioni. Per reperirle con una imbarcazione l’ideale \u00e8 avere una carta nautica; in mancanza, il metodo deltica; in mancanza il metodo dello scandaglio, magari con l’ancora, pu\u00f2 dare buoni frutti.
\nOppure quando il mare ha le onde lunghe senza cresta, dopo una mareggiata, sicuramente sulla secca di mezzo, quella pi\u00f9 emergente, esse si romperanno e si imbiancheranno scoprendo il punto preciso.
